The thing that most helped me heal from my burnout and ensuing five years of chronic symptoms is a mysterious thing to explain.
But I really want to see if I can, because I can sense in my blood and bones that you, and maybe thousands of other women might really relate, and greatly benefit from it.
The thing that most helped me heal was falling in love with the fact that I’m a woman.
This took (and continues to take) many years of undoing, re-wilding, softening and allowing.
It took sitting in women’s circles for days on end vulnerably sharing my deepest wounds.
It took learning to embrace my wild emotionality, as the same wildness that makes the ocean waves rise and fall.
It took de-programming the part of me that always looks for logic and reason, and replacing it with a trust in my intuitive, gut knowing.
And most importantly, it took honouring that I’m a cyclical creature.
I’m pretty much 28 different women through the month! (Do you relate?). And unfortunately, we live in a world that does not recognise the ebb and flow of women’s energies throughout our monthly cycle. We’re expected to be the same, day in, day out, when simply said, we are not. I feel in my heart that it’s time to reclaim this sacred knowledge as a powerful gateway to our full health, vitality and a sense of profound belonging as women in this world.
That’s why I’m beyond thrilled to invite you to join me and two of my greatest teachers and allies on the embodied feminine path, global paradigm shifters Alexandra Pope and Sjanie Hugo Wurlitzer, for a very special free online event on Tuesday 6th February.
